For the first time in a very long time, Kateena and I did NOT wait till the last minute to panic about school treats of the non edible kind. We started panicking well ahead of time. Ha ha, nahhh we are actually done with the kids treats and will make the teacher and bus drivers valentines next week.
We were able to make these very inexpensively. The glow bracelets came from the Target Dollar spot of all places. The pdf was provided by
http://www.theteacherwife.blogspot.com/ and I highly recommend her site, it is fantastic!!! We also linked this up on

So here is the building of a valentine.

The teacherwife blog pdf, too cute right? |
|
We used a hole punch instead of taping the glow stick to the heart. |
|
Double stick tape on the white heart. |
|
Thread the glow stick carefully. |
Awesome idea. We used to cut our red cardboard, punch hole and string on yarn for Valentine necklaces with a message.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Julie. We were amazed we could do the class valentines so cheaply. I think it worked out less than 5 dollars for them all.
